It's time to break taboos around women's health.
My mission is to pull back the curtain on the impact of fashion. I'm working towards collective liberation decolonize, patriarhial narratives, designing innovative intimates anti-racism work, community events to have open onversations about taboo topics, advocacy to unlearn society's programming that women have had to endure from body literacy to male gaze, to consumer capitalism This involves dismantling society's perfect ideal programming, colonialism, and capitalism.
I am passionate about anti-racism work. Working to dismantle the narratvies society has been putting on women, from consumption,to the male gaze, to body literacy, and empowering women to speak up for our collective liberation.
Mayana isn’t just about clothes; it’s about community, advocacy, and showing up for each other. I wanted to build a space where we can have the real conversations—the ones about bodies, birth, and all the things we’re told to keep quiet about. Because we deserve better.
We are living in a time where our voice is our power but women are still afraid to use it - this tells us we are not really free - while we have made some advancements, true liberation comes from understanding how all of these issues are interconnected and actively work towards dismantling them TOGETHER.
We’re building a movement, one that values people, sustainability, and community as an equal metric to profit. A movement that is addressing the root cause of a lot of issues that we can no longer avoid like human rights violations and climate catastrophes in the name of consumption. In a world that’s always pushing for more—more stuff, more speed, more things—it’s time to slow down and choose different.
