What the heck is happening?

If you’re living with a woman in peri/menopause and feel confused, thrown off, or even a little unsure how to handle the changes or what they are - this night is for you.

Men-on-Pause is a first-of-its-kind event built for men, with men. It’s an immersive evening designed to help you understand what’s actually happening, why it affects relationships the way it does, and what you can do about it, without pressure, judgement, blame, or awkwardness.

Let’s be clear:

You are not required to share your feelings. This is not group therapy. You will not be put on the spot.

This is a boy’s night.

Food. Drinks. Real conversations. Comedy. Music. Experts who actually make sense.

What’s said here stays here.
Share as much as you want - or just listen.

What to Expect:

• Laugh-while-you-learn sessions
• Straight answers about menopause and relationships
• A room full of guys realizing they’re not the only ones
• Good food, drinks, games, prizes, and zero judgment

What You’ll Walk Away With:

• A clear understanding of what’s happening
• Practical ways to handle it better
• A few new guys in your corner

For the partners, brothers, sons, and friends who want to do better even if you’re not sure where to start.

Come curious. Leave confident.

Hey Friends,

The format of the evening is a relaxed space led by and for men. We will have sessions in between cocktail demos and music. It's not a sharing circle but you are welcome to share during the sessions if you have questions.

By buying a ticket, you’re stepping into a space designed for men to learn, connect, and grow,  in a way that’s honest, and community focused. Here’s what that means:

  • Open Conversations: This is about creating space where men can talk openly about menopause, relationships, and care, without fear of judgment. We want you to share, ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together in a supportive environment. Chatham house rules apply what is said at the event stays at the event.
  • Inclusivity: No racism, misogyny, homophobia, oppressive, or divisive language will be tolerated, no exceptions. Genocide is real, ongoing, and demands that we show up differently with courage, accountability, and solidarity.  Race, politics, and identity are central to these conversations, and we welcome difficult, honest, and respectful dialogue as part of learning, unlearning, and creating a more inclusive space for everyone.
  • Community over status. Titles, wealth, or position don’t matter here; what counts is how you show up, the content of your character, and your willingness to learn and contribute. We’re here to connect, grow, and support each other as equals, building a space where everyone can speak openly
  • Commitment first. Share as much or as little as you want! We want attendees who genuinely want to be here, fully present, and committed to the room if this sounds like you we can't wait to meet you.
  • All relationship statuses welcome. For anyone in a relationship with someone experiencing menopause. Partner, friend, family member, caregiver,  if you care about someone going through this stage of life, this space is for you.

  • Food & a drink (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) ticket included
  • Access to guest speakers and fireside conversations
  • Interactive sessions facilitated by health professionals
  • Live DJ and entertainment
  • Networking opportunities
  • Prize giveaways

Creators of Men-On-Pause - High Heels & Hot Flashes

High Heels & Hot Flashes was our first initiative, a space for women to explore peri- and menopause openly, share experiences, and access expert insights in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Through these conversations, we realized that men - partners, friends, family, and allies who champion the women in their lives are essential to these conversations but are often excluded and lack a community where they can engage in this dialogue.
